Carpentry Lecturer – Part-Time (Cambridge)

£28,000 - £41,000 (Pro-rata)

We’re looking for an experienced Carpentry Lecturer to join a leading Further Education college in Cambridge on a long-term sickness cover basis. This is a part-time teaching role, covering Wednesday to Friday each week.

Schedule:

• Wednesday & Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established college committed to supporting students in developing practical skills and industry knowledge within construction trades. You'll be delivering engaging lessons, assessing learners, and supporting them to achieve their qualifications.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
• Teaching experience within an FE environment
• Strong vocational knowledge and practical experience in carpentry or joinery
• A passion for supporting and inspiring the next generation of carpenters
