An ambitious and forward-thinking secondary school in the London Borough of Bexley is seeking to appoint an exceptional Deputy Headteacher to lead on Relationships, Behaviour and Attendance.

This is a pivotal senior leadership role, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to shape whole-school culture, strengthen positive relationships and drive outstanding behaviour and attendance outcomes. The post would suit an experienced and inspirational leader with a strong moral purpose and a proven track record of impact at senior level.

The Role:

• Strategic leadership of behaviour, relationships and attendance across the school
• Oversight of pastoral systems and student wellbeing
• Driving a culture of high expectations, inclusivity and respect
• Working closely with the Headteacher and SLT to deliver the school’s vision
• Line management of key pastoral and inclusion teams

The Ideal Candidate:

• An experienced senior leader (Deputy Headteacher or Assistant Headteacher ready to step up)
• Strong expertise in behaviour management, pastoral leadership and attendance strategies
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire staff and students
• A clear commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and student success
