Learning Support Mentor – Care, Health and Early Years
Location: Cambridge
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Until February Half Term (Term Time Only)
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Equivalent FTE Salary: £24,577

Are you passionate about helping young people thrive in their learning journey? We’re looking for a dedicated Learning Support Mentor to join the Care, Health and Early Years department supporting students to reach their full potential.

About the Role

In this rewarding role, you’ll provide one-to-one and small group support to learners with special educational needs (SEN), helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their goals. You’ll work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support inside and outside the classroom, encouraging confidence, independence, and personal growth.

What We’re Looking For

  • Recent and demonstrable experience of working with people with special educational needs.
  • A supportive, patient, and positive approach to learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to adapt to different needs and learning styles.

Additional Details

This position is 22.5 hours per week, term time only, and will initially run until February half term, with potential for extension.
