Location: Walsall
Hours: 25 hours per week

We’re seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Lecturer in ESOL to join a dynamic Further Education team on a temporary basis until mid-February 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified ESOL professional to make an immediate impact supporting students to develop their English language skills and confidence.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality ESOL sessions to adult learners.
  • Plan, deliver, and assess learning to meet individual targets and curriculum standards.
  • Support learner progress through effective feedback and differentiated teaching.
  • Maintain accurate learner records and contribute to the wider teaching team.

Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, DET, Cert Ed or equivalent).
  • An appropriate level of qualification in ESOL or a related subject area.
  • Recent experience of teaching or supporting ESOL learners (preferably within FE or adult education).
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

This temporary role offers 25 hours per week and is ideal for someone available to start immediately and keen to contribute to a supportive learning environment.
