Year 2 Teacher – Long-Term Opportunity (4 Form Entry School, Redbridge)
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive 4 form entry primary school in Redbridge. This is a long-term position running until Summer 2026, with the option to move into a permanent role from September 2026.
This role would suit an experienced Year 2 Teacher or a confident practitioner with strong KS1 expertise who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning at the end of Key Stage 1. The school is open to ECTs, with the understanding that formal induction would begin in September 2026.
The Role
· Full-time, long-term position teaching Year 2
· Paid on MPS/UPS scale (£230–£330 per day)
· Working within a supportive KS1 team in a well-resourced, 4 form entry setting
· Opportunity to secure a permanent post from September 2026
Requirements
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
· Experience working in British schools
· Proven KS1 teaching experience, ideally as a Year 2 Teacher
· Strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum and end-of-key-stage expectations
· Commitment, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively
