About the Role

A welcoming and well-established 4-form entry primary school in Redbridge is seeking a dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis, with the opportunity to become permanent.

You will take full responsibility for your class, including planning, teaching and assessment, and work collaboratively within a large, supportive year group team. This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy structured environments, shared planning opportunities and strong professional support.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching aligned with the Primary National Curriculum
• Take full responsibility for planning, assessment and pupil progress for your class
• Create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Work collaboratively with parallel class teachers in a 4FE setting
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning and pupil wellbeing

Person Specification

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (or strong KS2 teachers open to KS1)
• Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation
• Confident planning and delivering lessons independently
• Committed, reliable and enthusiastic about pupil progress
