Primary Behaviour Mentor

 

Daily Rate: Starting at £26,342 per annum

Location: Bexley

Start Date: ASAP

Role Type: Permanent, Full time

 

We are looking for an experienced Primary Behaviour Mentor to work with students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs to reach their full potential. You’ll build positive relationships, deliver one-to-one and small-group interventions, and model strategies that promote self-regulation and engagement. Working closely with teachers and support staff, you’ll help create a calm, inclusive environment where every learner feels safe, valued, and ready to succeed.

Role Requirements:

·         Experienced Behaviour Mentors, Youth Workers, SEMH Teaching Assistants / Graduates with relevant experience

·         Individuals with a passion for supporting children with SEMH, autism, or behavioural needs

·         Confident communicators who can build trust and foster emotional regulation

·         Those comfortable working 1:1 or with small groups

·         Experience in de-escalation, trauma-informed approaches, or Team Teach is a bonus

·         Adaptable, compassionate, and proactive individuals

·         Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

·         Full employment history & references

·         Right to work in the UK
