POSITION: SEN Teaching Assistant
PAY: £95–£120 per day (dependent on experience)
CONTRACT: Day-to-Day, Short-Term & Long-Term
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday (minimum 3 days per week preferred)

Primary schools across Greenwich are seeking committed and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistants to join their teams on a day-to-day, short-term, and long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEN TA who enjoys variety, thrives in new environments, and is passionate about helping pupils with additional needs succeed.
About the role: SEN Teaching Assistant
· Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and Speech & Language needs
· Assist the class teacher in delivering inclusive and engaging learning experiences
· Help implement IEPs, behaviour strategies and tailored support plans
· Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation and independence
· Adapt to different year groups and school environments
· Follow safeguarding, SEN and behaviour policies at all times
The ideal candidate: SEN Teaching Assistant
· SEN Teaching Assistant qualification preferred
· Minimum of 6 months experience in a UK primary school is essential
· Strong experience supporting pupils with SEN is highly desirable
· Calm, patient and nurturing approach to supporting children
· Confident working flexibly across a range of age groups and needs
· Reliable, punctual and committed to improving pupil outcomes
· Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to apply)
