POSITION: Primary Teaching Assistant
PAY: £95–£120 per day (dependent on experience)
CONTRACT: Casual / Flexible
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday (minimum 3 days per week preferred)

Are you an enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistant looking for flexible, casual work in primary schools? Schools across Redbridge are seeking supportive Primary Teaching Assistants to help children achieve their best. This role offers the chance to gain experience in a variety of classroom environments while making a real difference to pupils’ learning and development.

About the role: Primary Teaching Assistant

· Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
· Work 1:1, in small groups, or assist with whole-class activities
· Help teachers with classroom routines, resources, and behaviour management
· Support children with SEN or additional needs when required
· Follow school safeguarding, behaviour, and inclusion policies
· Flexible, day-to-day assignments—choose the days you are available

The ideal candidate: Primary Teaching Assistant

· Teaching Assistant qualification preferred
· Minimum of 6 months experience working in a UK primary school is essential
· Confident, adaptable, and proactive in different classroom settings
· Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
· Strong communication and teamwork skills
· Reliable, professional, and punctual
· Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to obtain one)
