The Role:
A fantastic primary school in Kensington and Chelsea is on the lookout for a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a Year 5 class. The role involves working closely with children who have additional learning needs, helping them thrive academically and emotionally in a supportive school setting.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Working one-to-one with pupils who need extra support to stay on track.
  • Assisting the teacher in adapting lessons and materials to meet individual needs.
  • Encouraging social and emotional growth through positive relationships and consistent support.
  • Helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and a love for learning.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong experience supporting SEN pupils, ideally within Key Stage 2.
  • A calm, nurturing approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Confidence in using a variety of SEN strategies to support learning and behaviour.
  • A reliable and flexible team player who’s happy to get stuck in from day one.
  • DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
