Year 3 Teaching Assistant – Primary School Setting
Location: Kensington and Chelsea
Contract: Full-time, Term-time Only
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £110 per day
Are you an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with a knack for helping children shine—especially those who need a little extra support? We’re working with a welcoming primary school seeking a dedicated Year 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the class teacher to support pupils’ learning and social development, provide tailored help to children with SEN, and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment. The school has a warm, community feel and takes real pride in nurturing both students and staff.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing classroom-based support in a Year 3 class.
- Delivering small-group and one-to-one interventions.
- Assisting children with additional learning needs, ensuring they stay engaged and confident.
- Supporting the teacher in preparing learning resources and maintaining a calm, organised environment.
About you:
- Experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in Key Stage 2.
- Some experience supporting children with SEN (for example, autism, ADHD, or speech and language needs).
- A patient, positive, and proactive approach.
- A genuine passion for helping children thrive.
