We are seeking an enthusiastic EYFS ECT to join our friendly and inclusive primary school in Redbridge from January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to begin your teaching career in a nurturing Early Years setting with excellent support and a strong focus on child-centred learning.

 

This permanent, full-time role is ideal for an EYFS ECT who is passionate about early childhood development and committed to creating a safe, stimulating and inspiring environment where every child can thrive.

 

Role and Responsibilities

·         Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate EYFS lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework

·         Create a warm, inclusive and well-organised classroom environment that supports play-based learning

·         Use ongoing assessment to track progress and inform next steps in learning

·         Build strong relationships with children, parents and carers

·         Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and leaders to enhance provision

·         Contribute to wider school life and uphold the school’s ethos and values

 

The Ideal Candidate

·         We are looking for an EYFS ECT who:

·         Holds QTS (or is due to qualify) and demonstrates strong knowledge of the EYFS framework

·         Is reflective, enthusiastic and eager to develop their practice

·         Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·         Shows creativity and flexibility in their teaching approach

·         Is committed to inclusive practice and high expectations for all pupils

The successful EYFS ECT will receive a salary at Outer London MPS1 of £37,870 alongside access to high-quality CPD and a supportive staff team who prioritise wellbeing.
