POSITION: SENCO
PAY: Paid to Scale (in line with experience)
CONTRACT: Full Time & Long Term

LOCATION: Waltham Forest, North East London
A forward-thinking and inclusive primary school in Waltham Forest, North East London, is seeking an experienced SENCO to join their team on a long-term basis for the Spring Term only, starting January 2026. This role is ideal for an organised, skilled, and passionate SEND leader who can confidently oversee and drive high-quality provision during this fixed-term period.
About the role: SENCO
· Lead and manage the school’s SEND provision across all year groups
· Coordinate support for pupils with a range of additional needs
· Work closely with teachers, support staff, and external professionals
· Oversee EHCP processes, reviews, and statutory responsibilities
· Monitor pupil progress, interventions, and SEND outcomes
· Support staff with strategies, differentiation, and pupil plans
· Maintain accurate and compliant SEND records
· Safeguard pupils at all times
· Full-time & Long-Term role (Spring Term only)
· January 2026 start
· Primary setting located in Waltham Forest, North East London
The ideal candidate: SENCO
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required
· NASENCo qualification preferred (or ongoing)
· Strong understanding of SEND processes and statutory requirements
· Proven experience working as a SENCO or in a similar leadership role
· Excellent communication and organisational skills
· Confident supporting staff, pupils, and families
· Reliable, proactive, and committed to inclusive education
