PAY: £95–£120 per day
CONTRACT: Full Time & Long Term

An inclusive and supportive primary school in Havering, East London, is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team as soon as possible. This is a full-time, long-term position, supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) across Early Years and Key Stages 1–2.

About the role: SEN Teaching Assistant

· Support pupils with a range of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, and Speech & Language difficulties
· Work 1:1 and in small groups to encourage progress and independence
· Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons
· Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and differentiated strategies
· Promote positive behaviour management and emotional well-being
· Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to ensure pupil success
· Safeguard pupils and maintain a nurturing learning environment
· Full-time & Long-Term contract
· Immediate start
· Primary School located in Havering, East London

The ideal candidate: SEN Teaching Assistant

· Must have previous experience supporting children with SEN in a UK school setting
· Understanding of behaviour management and differentiated learning techniques
· Calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting pupils
· Confident working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
· Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to helping every child achieve their potential
