Drama Teacher – Outstanding Secondary School – North London – January 2026 Start

Location: North London
Salary: MPS / UPS (£37,870 – £62,496 per annum)

Clarus Education is proud to be supporting an Outstanding Secondary School in North London, seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Drama Teacher from January 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and dynamic teacher to join a thriving Performing Arts Department renowned for its engaging curriculum, vibrant extra-curricular programme, and successful school productions. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Drama lessons across Key Stages 3–5, inspiring students to express themselves with confidence and imagination.

The Role:

  • Teach Drama across KS3–KS5
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver exciting and inclusive lessons that inspire creativity and participation
  • Support and lead extra-curricular activities, including school productions, showcases, and drama clubs
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the Performing Arts curriculum and wider school community

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Specialism in Drama or Performing Arts (PGCE, BA, or equivalent)
  • Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
  • Passionate about promoting performing arts and student creativity
  • Committed, reflective, and eager to contribute to a collaborative department
