Secondary Cover Teacher – Sheffield (Temporary / Ad-Hoc Basis)

Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Pay: £160+ per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Temporary / Ad-Hoc Cover

Clarus Education is seeking flexible, reliable, and engaging Secondary Cover Teachers to join our network of schools across Sheffield. The Role:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3–KS4 (and occasionally KS5, depending on experience)
• Manage the classroom effectively, ensuring a positive learning environment
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and staff teams
• Support pupils in achieving lesson objectives while maintaining high standards of behaviour

About You:

• Ideally hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A proactive, adaptable, and professional approach to teaching
• Available for temporary and short notice cover across local schools
• Must have a valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
