Experienced EYFS Practitioner – ASAP start - Camden

Clarus Education is delighted to be supporting a welcoming primary school in Camden in their search for an Experienced EYFS Practitioner to work with children aged 2–3 years. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic early year’s practitioner to join a dedicated team and make a real difference in children’s early development.

Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 17th July 2026
Schedule: 8:30am – 4:30pm (Term-Time Only)
Paid Working Hours: 7 hours + 15 mins (45 mins unpaid break)
Pay: £13.69–£14.45 per hour via PAYE / £16.07–£16.97 per hour via umbrella
(Equivalent to £20,434.10 per annum)

The Role - Experienced EYFS Practitioner

As an Experienced EYFS Practitioner, you will:

  • Join a friendly and supportive EYFS team
  • Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for 2–3 year olds
  • Support children in their learning and development through play-based and child-led approaches
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for all children

The Ideal Candidate - Experienced EYFS Practitioner

We are looking for a practitioner who is experienced, passionate, and nurturing. Key qualities include:

  • Previous experience (ideally 1+ years) in Early Years education, ideally with knowledge of child-led learning approaches
  • Some experience supporting children with SEND
  • A proactive, hands-on approach, engaging at children’s level to communicate and inspire
  • Confidence in using play opportunities to extend and enrich learning
  • Positive, can-do attitude with strong teamwork skills
  • Ability to build warm, professional relationships with parents and carers

Additional Information

  • This is a Term-Time Only role.
  • Sponsorship is not available; candidates must have the right to work full-time in the UK.
  • The successful candidate will be subject to enhanced DBS clearance and references.
  • This role is not exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
