Your role - SEN Teaching Assistant

• Work closely with students in KS3 and KS4 with Autism, ADHD, Speech & Language needs, or SEMH difficulties
• Provide targeted support across a range of subjects, particularly core areas like English, Maths, and Science
• Run small group or 1-to-1 interventions to boost academic progress, confidence, and social skills
• Help adapt resources and teaching approaches so that learning is accessible for every student
• Collaborate with class teachers, the SENCo, and external professionals to track and review progress

What we’re looking for - SEN Teaching Assistant

• Prior experience supporting young people with SEN, ideally within a secondary school setting
• Confident behaviour management skills and a flexible, patient approach
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Resilient, proactive, and creative in supporting students with varied needs
• A genuine passion for inclusion and helping young people achieve their potential

Key details - SEN Teaching Assistant

• Full-time role, starting in September
• Term-time only, long-term placement
• £95–£120 per day, paid weekly
• Based in Haringey, North London
