Job overview

Our All through School is a large, richly diverse school for students aged 4 to 16. We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified or experienced Teaching Assistant to work with students in our primary phase, either to support students’ learning in the mainstream or to provide more focused individual support (often 1:1) for our Resourced Provision students. We are committed to providing an outstanding education for our SEND and Resourced Provision students and you will be joining a highly professional, caring and dedicated team, if appointed.

Whilst experience of working with young people in an education setting would be an advantage, we welcome applications from candidates who are looking for an opening into a career in education. Needless to say, you will need to have a real desire and passion to work with children, especially the most vulnerable.

Requirements

·         Candidates will need to have a minimum of GCSE Grade C/4 in English Language and Maths (or a recognised equivalent qualification).

·         Candidates should indicate any subject or specialism which may help to match them to student needs.

·         Candidates must have experience in a similar role supporting children in a school setting.
