Role: SEND Lecturer (PMLD & SLD)
Location: Uxbridge & Hayes, West London
Salary: £32,455 – £45,260 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term (until July 2026)

The Role

A Further Education college is looking for a dedicated SEND Lecturer to join their team on a fixed term basis. You will teach and support students with a range of special educational needs, helping them achieve their individual goals through personalised learning.

Main Duties

• Deliver tailored teaching and support for students with SEND.
• Plan and develop individualised learning programmes.
• Work closely with support staff and therapists to maximise student progress.
• Contribute to curriculum development.
• Carry out assessments and take part in EHCP review meetings.
• Support enrichment activities such as trips and community projects.

What You’ll Need

• Experience working with learners with SEND.
• Teaching qualification or willingness to gain one.
• Relevant degree or professional qualification.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with SEN approaches such as PECS or Makaton is desirable.
