Location: Uxbridge & Hayes, West London
Salary: £32,455 – £45,260 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

The Role

A Further Education college is looking for a caring and committed Lecturer to teach students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Autism. You’ll help design and deliver meaningful learning programmes, making a real difference for young people.

Main Duties

• Teach and support students with PMLD, SLD, and Autism.
• Plan lessons and adapt learning to individual needs.
• Work with support staff and therapists to help students progress.
• Contribute to curriculum planning.
• Assess students and join EHCP review meetings.
• Lead or support trips and creative activities.

What You’ll Need

• Teaching experience or relevant support work with SEN learners.
• Teaching qualification or willingness to train.
• Related degree or professional qualification.
• Teamwork, good communication and organisation skills.
• SEN training (PECS, Makaton, Team Teach) is a plus.
