EHCP Officer – Cambridge

Full Time | Temporary | Up to Christmas
Pay: £13.94–£14.87 per hour

An exciting opportunity for a skilled EHCP Officer to join a dynamic Education, Health & Care Plan team at a leading college with campuses in Cambridge and Huntingdon. This is a temporary, full-time role running up to Christmas, offering competitive hourly pay and the chance to contribute to outstanding student support.

Role Overview

  • Support young people with EHCPs through direct and indirect interventions, helping them transition and succeed at college
  • Liaise with families, advocates, and multidisciplinary teams to prepare, chair, and report on Annual EHCP Reviews
  • Collaborate with lecturers, support staff and external partners to ensure students receive tailored assistance and all statutory obligations are met

Candidate Essentials

  • Previous experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • GCSEs (Grade A-C or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Excellent attention to detail, procedural accuracy, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a dedicated team
