Salary: £150+ per day for the first year and then permanent salaried Teacher Training from Sept 2026

We are looking for an enthusiastic aspiring MFL Teacher who can teach either Spanish or Spanish and French to join a vibrant coeducational comprehensive secondary school in Watford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated aspiring MFL teacher who wants to inspire young learners and make a real difference.

 

As an aspiring MFL Teacher, you will be joining a supportive school environment where languages are valued and promoted. You will play an important role in helping students achieve their best, while building their confidence in speaking and understanding Spanish.

 

The ideal MFL Teacher will have the ability to deliver engaging and motivating lessons, bringing languages to life in creative and enjoyable ways. This is a great chance to work in a welcoming school community with excellent resources and supportive leadership.

 

MFL Teacher Responsibilities include:

·         Plan and deliver high-quality French and Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

·         Inspire and motivate students to develop their language skills and cultural awareness.

·         Assess, track and support student progress, ensuring every learner achieves their potential.

·         Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular clubs and cultural events.

 

MFL Teacher Requirements:

·         Graduate of MFL including Spanish or experience in Spanish teaching

·         Experience teaching Spanish at secondary level.

·         Strong subject knowledge with the ability to deliver engaging lessons.

·         Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

·         A positive, flexible, and collaborative approach to teaching.
