We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic class based KS2 Teaching Assistant who will provide in class learning and behaviour support and interventions. It is important to us that all adults contribute to the growth and development of every child and support their individual needs.
Previous experience of working with pupils age 3-11 and GCSEs in English and Maths and essential, and a Level 2 or above Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent are desirable.
For the right candidate, there maybe opportunities for extended hours for afterschool clubs.

Key responsibilities:
- Work with individuals or small groups of pupils in the classroom under the direct supervision of teaching staff
- Supervise and provide particular support for pupils, including those with special needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities
- Encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher
- Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment in accordance with lesson plans and assist with the display of pupils’ work
- Monitor pupils’ responses to learning activities and accurately record achievement and progress as directed
