We are working with a leading and inspirational centre of learning with campuses in Cambridge and Huntingdon. Recognised for outstanding teaching, excellent facilities, and a commitment to excellence, the organisation has also achieved Investors in People Gold status, highlighting their ongoing investment in staff development and wellbeing.

The Role

As an EHCP Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Education, Health & Care Plans (EHCPs). This is a rewarding opportunity where you’ll make a real difference by helping students transition, succeed, and thrive in their education.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct and indirect support and advice for students with EHCPs
  • Liaising with families, advocates, and external stakeholders
  • Preparing, chairing, and reporting on annual EHCP reviews
  • Working collaboratively with lecturers and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for students
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory, policy, and contractual obligations

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, grades A–C
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with minimal supervision
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

You’ll report directly to the EHCP Manager and will be part of a supportive, professional team.

Flexibility & Hybrid Working

This role offers agile working – while some tasks can be carried out from home, flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business and students on campus.
