The Role - Deputy Head of Juniors

The Deputy Head of Juniors will work closely with the Head of Juniors to provide both academic and pastoral leadership. You will:

• Lead and manage high-quality teaching and learning across the Junior School.
• Support staff development, performance, and wellbeing.
• Maintain strong links with parents and the wider community.
• Promote excellence in both academic achievement and personal growth.
• Help sustain and enhance the reputation of the school in partnership with the leadership team.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (or international equivalent).
• At least 5 years’ leadership experience as Deputy Head (or similar) in a Junior/Primary setting at an international school.
• Strong background in delivering the National Curriculum for England.
• Proven experience in raising teaching and learning standards.
• A collaborative, communicative, and inspiring leader.
• Respectful of Qatari traditions, Islamic values, and the international school community.
