Full-time | Cambridge Area | Permanent Contract | £28,385 – £41,782 per annum

A leading further education provider in the Cambridge region is seeking a passionate and motivated Plumbing Lecturer to join their Construction department on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on teaching position delivering Plumbing courses to learners of diverse backgrounds and skill levels, both in the classroom and workshop.

Key Responsibilities - Plumbing Lecturer

• Deliver engaging, high-quality theoretical and practical lessons across Plumbing programmes, ensuring all learning is in line with awarding body standards.
• Design and maintain course materials, assignments, and digital resources.
• Prepare Schemes of Work and Assessment; carry out moderation and verification duties.
• Provide ongoing tutorial support, progress tracking, and feedback to students.
• Communicate with learners, parents, and employers regarding achievement and progress.
• Maintain current professional links within the Plumbing sector and engage in active CPD.

Requirements - Plumbing Lecturer

• Minimum Level 3 vocational qualification in Plumbing.
• Strong industry experience within the Plumbing and Construction sector.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to high standards of safeguarding and to supporting learner success.
• Teaching qualification preferred, or willingness to work towards one.
