Year 3 1:1 SEN TA (Year 3 – ASD/ADHD, SEMH & Behaviour Support)
Location: Camden, London | Pay: £95–£120 per day | Full-time | ASAP Start

Clarus Education is recruiting an experienced and compassionate Year 3 1:1 SEN TA to support a verbal Year 3 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and significant Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) and behaviour needs in a well-resourced Camden Primary School. This is a long-term, full-time role offering an excellent daily rate for skilled professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide focused 1:1 support to a pupil with ASD, ADHD, and high SEMH/behavioural needs
• Implement behaviour management and de-escalation strategies in collaboration with school staff
• Adapt teaching resources and activities to the pupil’s individual needs, including use of visual aids and sensory tools
• Support curriculum access, independent learning, and social integration within class and group settings
• Monitor and record pupil progress; contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour plans
• Maintain a positive, calm, and nurturing approach to support the pupil’s emotional well-being

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience supporting children with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH in primary education
• Strong behaviour management skills and resilience in challenging situations
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities with teaching staff and external professionals
• Relevant SEN training or qualifications preferred
• Enhanced DBS check (can be arranged if required)
