Huntington

Part time basis (30 hours per week)

£23,385 - £33,876

We have an exciting opportunity for an inspirational Lecturer in Health and Social Care to join our Care, Health and Early Years team at our Huntingdon Campus.

You will join us on a part time (30 hours), full year basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of between £23,014 - £33,876 per annum equivalent to full time salary £28,385 - £41,782 per annum, plus staff benefits.

About the role:

The Department is looking to recruit a lecturer with a health background to teach across our L2 and L3 Health and Social Care programmes including the new T-level in Health Science planned for 2026.

The main responsibility of this role will be to provide high quality teaching, learning and assessment in addition to undertaking associated tutorial duties.

The successful candidate may also be a course leader for one or more programmes.

Agile working

The role is primarily face to face but we do offer agile working on a case by case basis depending on personal circumstances and business need.

What we are looking for in our role:

The ideal applicant will have experience in teaching and assessing Health and Social Care programmes or Health Science subjects with relevant occupational competency and experience working in the Health sector.

Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualifications or industry experience with a full teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLS) is required for the role. Applicants with a L3 teaching qualification who are willing to undertake a full L5 Diploma in Education and Training will be considered.
