Job Opportunity: Temporary Teaching Assistant – North London

We are working with a supportive primary and secondary school network in North London and seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants for temporary cover.

Role Details:

• Position: Temporary Teaching Assistant
• Location: North London
• Start Date: Immediate / September 2025
• Contract: Daily Supply/Short-term
• Pay: £95–£120 per day (depending on hours worked)

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting learners in and out of the classroom. This includes helping to deliver lessons, providing one-to-one or small-group support, and assisting pupils with additional needs. We are looking for caring, adaptable individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils
• Assist with behaviour management and create an inclusive learning environment
• Support pupils with additional or special educational needs (SEN) where required
• Help with classroom resources and general administrative support

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
• A positive, patient, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
