The Role

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you'll provide vital support to classroom teachers and pupils across primary and secondary schools in North London. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting individual pupils and small groups with their learning
• Assisting with classroom management and activities
• Providing one-to-one support for pupils with additional needs
• Helping to prepare learning materials and resources
• Supporting pupils with social and emotional development

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant (classroom or support role)
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for supporting young people
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments
• Must be willing to travel up to 1 hour via public transport

Ideal Candidates Will Have

• Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred)
• Experience working with children with SEN/SEND
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
• First Aid certification (desirable)
