Special Needs Learning Support Assistant

Lewisham

As soon as possible start

£95-£120 per day

 

To start immediately, our mainstream Primary school located in Lewisham is looking for a Special Education Learning Support Assistant.

 

For this role you will:

·         Need SEND knowledge and experience

·         Be expected to follow the school’s curriculum and policies

·         Have potentially further experience, such as using activities like Makaton, PECS and sensory-based approaches (highly desired)

·         Have personal or work experience where you have supported primary aged children with SEND

 

You will be working one-to-one with a child and supporting them in their learning and academic needs. If you have a passion for SEND and a desire to work with children in a setting where you can also make progress, then this is a great opportunity for you.

 

The successful SEN TA will:

·         Be proactive Be organised Have experience working one-to-one

·         Be supportive and encouraging

·         Have relevant knowledge of and a passion for SEN
