About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Year 6 Class Teacher to join a thriving primary school in North London. This long-term position runs from September 2025 through to July 2026, offering excellent rates of pay and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on pupils during their crucial final year of primary education.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the full primary curriculum
• Prepare Year 6 pupils for SATs and secondary school transition
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assess pupil progress and provide meaningful feedback
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community
• Maintain accurate records and complete necessary administrative tasks

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 6
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Commitment to raising standards and pupil achievement
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
