What You'll Do

As part of a small, supportive cover team, you'll step in for absent teachers and deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons. Each day is different, and your responsibilities will include:

•         Leading lessons for students aged 11-18 (up to 25 per class)

•         Creating a positive, focused learning atmosphere

•         Managing behaviour confidently and respectfully

•         Supporting students' learning with initiative and energy

Who This Role Suits

You'll thrive if you have:

•         Previous experience of working as a HLTA / Cover Supervisor / Teaching Assistant

•         Confidence in leading and managing groups

•         Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills

•         Experience in teaching, training, coaching or similar

•         A subject specialism (a plus, not a requirement)
