Are you passionate about inspiring learners and making a real difference in their educational journey? We are recruiting for a part-time Lecturer to deliver GCSE and Functional Skills English at a leading college in Uxbridge/Hayes.

About the Role

You will play a vital role in supporting vocational learners aged 16-18—and an increasing number of adult learners—helping them to achieve their qualifications and progress onto higher courses or into the workplace. You’ll be joining a dynamic, supportive team of experienced teachers who are committed to sharing best practice and engaging resit learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality GCSE and Functional Skills English lessons to vocational and adult learners
• Support students’ progression and achievement
• Engage and motivate learners from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines
• Contribute to the sharing of best practice within a collaborative team environment

About You

• Ideally hold a degree in English or a related subject
• Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE English and/or Functional Skills (desirable)
• Able to engage, inspire, and enthuse 16–18-year-olds and adult learners
• Committed to supporting learners of all abilities
• Enthusiastic about sharing best practice and working collaboratively
