Role: Experienced KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant
Start Date: ASAP or September 2025
Location: Camden, London
Pay: £13.85 per hour (via PAYE)
Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (Term time only)
Are you an experienced KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant seeking a new opportunity in a welcoming Camden primary school? We are looking for a committed and skilled professional to support Key Stage 2 pupils with special educational needs, helping them to achieve their full potential in a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities: Experienced KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant
- Provide targeted support to KS2 pupils with SEN, both in and out of the classroom
- Work collaboratively with teachers and the SENCO to deliver inclusive education
- Adapt learning materials and activities to meet individual needs
- Foster a positive, safe, and engaging classroom atmosphere
- Track and report on pupil progress, contributing to SEN reviews and meetings
Requirements: Experienced KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant
- Substantial experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally supporting SEN in KS2
- Relevant TA qualification (Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
