The English department plays a key role in the School’s achievement and development and the department is a driven and cohesive team who demand the best from each other and from their students.

There is no requirement to be experienced in SEN / ASD and we would welcome NQTs / Early Career Teachers, or more experienced teachers to apply. The department has a strong track record for developing staff, their teaching and achieving outstanding outcomes in a supportive environment. There is the potential to teach across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 - teaching functional skills, GCSE and A level (including literature and language).
