Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and ambitious Head of Infant School who is committed to the highest standards of Education and who can demonstrate leadership and management skills compatible with our School’s vision, mission and values.
The Academy provides quality education aimed at nurturing the development of the whole child concept, whilst emphasizing a solid foundation based on the National Curriculum of England and Early Years Foundation stage (EYFS). The Academy has high standard reputation and is popular with families across Qatar.
The Academy operates a dual curriculum – an English National Curriculum alongside the Qatar Curriculum for Arabic, Islamic studies and social studies.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Infant Head specialist to join the senior management team to fully support parents, students and staff as they work towards whole school improvement. This position would suit someone who is looking to expand their leadership skills in an international setting.
The Head of Infant School will be responsible for managing all staff programmes, curriculum content and assessment of the school.

The Successful Candidate will possess:
• Recognized Teaching qualification (B.Ed. / PGCE or equivalent)
• NPQH
• Significant knowledge and experience of the English National Curriculum particularly at Early Years Foundation Stage
• Minimum 5 Years Leadership Experience
• Creative, innovative and resilient, the candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills. Good IT and organizational skills are also essential.
successful candidate should have high expectations of themselves with a professional working ethos and sound early years’ educational philosophy to drive the education agenda. This needs to be combined with exceptional; communication and leadership skills to motivate both children and staff.
