POSITION: Secondary Teacher posts – Permanent Contract – ECT & experienced

SCHOOL: Range of Secondary Schools – 11-16yrs & 11-18yrs – Single Sex & Mixed 

LOCATION: Barnet – Outer London – Excellent Transport Links & Parking 

CONTRACT: Permanent Contracts, ECT Induction / CPD & Support 

SALARY: Outer London MPS / UPS - (£36,413 - £53,994) 

START: September 2025

ROLE: 

ALL Secondary positions Clarus Education work on are permanent contracts, starting in September 2025, employed directly by the school. Clarus Education are working with positions (both ECT & Experienced) across MOST subjects, with a need and focus on subjects such as; Maths, English, Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology), RE, Design Technology, Geography and History. The schools and their SLTs will be looking to formally observe a lesson and conduct an interview for each post, with every school slightly different in their approach.  

SCHOOLS: 

These Secondary posts are within very contrasting schools, including Catholic Schools with a ‘soft’ ethos, Academies, State Grammars and Mixed Comprehensives of different sizes and OFSTED grading. Your next school and role will be determined by what exactly what kind of environment you are looking to work in. We are working with schools within Barnet, Outer London, which will mean a variance in your salary, however, do not let this dictate your decision on your first school. Make sure, first and foremost; you have chosen the ‘right’ school!
