A few questions we answered earlier...
No, not at all. Our services are paid for by schools' recruitment and staffing budgets.
This purely depends on the type of contract you are offered. A permanent or fixed term contract will be through the school and local authority. A long-term contractor will tend to be employed through Clarus, as the school or position requires flexibility.
We insist on meeting all candidates face to face as a matter of principal and safety. Our vetting procedures are thorough and in line with DfE Guidelines.
100%. We love our candidates spreading the word. Head over to Register & Refer and enter in their details as well as yours. If we place your friend or colleague, you could earn up to £250 as a thank you.
Simple – we listen. You will have an in-depth and well structured interview with one of our consultants. They will go through exactly what you are looking for in your new job.
Ideally the sooner the better, as schools will want to see evidence of your ability and employability. We are entirely governed by you, and will NOT contact your current employer or referee unless you say so.
With social responsibility in mind, we have worked hard to keep our fees, for both permanent and long term placements, very competitive within the market. For more information, please contact us and speak to one of our consultants, who will happily discuss these with you and email over a copy of our Terms of Business.
AWR stands for Agency Worker Regulations. For more details information, please visit the ‘Schools AWR Guidelines’ page in our site menu.
Child protection and safeguarding are of the utmost importance to Clarus. Each candidate that passes through our doors is fully vetted, with the most stringent of checks, working above and beyond the guidelines set out by the DfE. For more information, please visit ‘Safeguarding standards’ in our main menu.
