About the role:
As the Personal Development Manager(Students) you will work across both campuses in Cambridge and Huntingdon.
The successful candidate will lead and manage teams with responsibility for a broad range of student personal development, including Tutorial Content, Personal Development Portfolio inclusive of employability skills, Enrichment including Freshers Fair and Events, Learning Resource Centres and Student Voice.
You will also manage the Pastoral Support Coordinator to provide an exclusive provision for our EHCP learners. Above all, you will have the drive to provide a service of excellence and have the ability to work collaboratively with curriculum and other service teams.
What we are looking for in our role:
A high-caliber dynamic manager with a passion for the personal development and success of young people, with proven experience in managing personal development programs within an educational or young people service setting.
To apply for the position you must have previous experience of working with young people preferably in the FE sector and have GCSE’s in English & Maths (Grade A-C or equivalent) together with a Teaching or Coaching Qualification.
You will have experience as a Personal Development Manager (Students) and ability to lead and inspire your team to achieve excellent student outcomes. Effective communication skills are vital for the role.
You will have a high level of integrity and professionalism, with an enthusiastic and proactive approach to work and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances are essential.
You will join us on a full time basis 37 hours per week and in return you will receive a competitive salary up to £39,190 per annum plus staff benefits.
