Salary: £110 -£140 Per day

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Cover Supervisor to join our vibrant and high-achieving secondary school in Southwark from September 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous experience in classroom supervision to contribute to a school that values consistency, high expectations, and student engagement. You will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring a purposeful learning environment in the absence of the regular class teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering set lessons to classes across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement
• Supporting the wider pastoral and academic life of the school
• Providing short-term cover across subjects where needed
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff and the Cover Manager

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills
• Is calm, flexible, and confident in working with young people
• Understands safeguarding and child protection responsibilities
• Can positively contribute to the wider school ethos and culture
