Are you an experienced, passionate Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher ready for an exciting new challenge from September 2025?
We are working with a thriving and inclusive primary school in Islington, North London, seeking a dedicated Year 6 Class Teacher to join their supportive and high-achieving team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in pupils’ final year of primary school, helping them prepare confidently for SATs and transition to secondary education.
The Role - Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher
- Take full responsibility for a Year 6 class
- Plan and deliver engaging, inspiring lessons tailored to Year 6 learners
- Prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments (SATs) and secondary transition
- Work collaboratively with the experienced KS2 team on planning and assessment
- Support pupils’ academic progress and personal development

Who We’re Looking For - Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher
- Qualified teacher with UK QTS
- Minimum of two years’ experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 6 preferred)
- Confident in preparing pupils for SATs and supporting transition to secondary school
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Positive, enthusiastic, and collaborative approach
- Please note: this role is not suitable for ECTs
