We are working in partnership with an Outstanding primary school in Islington, North London, which is seeking a talented Year 6 Teacher to join their welcoming and high-achieving team from September 2025.

Due to the closure of a local school, this highly regarded primary is expanding and creating an additional Year 6 class for one academic year — a fantastic chance to help shape and lead a new class in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

The Role

• Full responsibility for a Year 6 class throughout the 2025–2026 academic year

• Deliver creative, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils

• Prepare students for end-of-key-stage assessments (SATs) and ensure a smooth transition to secondary school

• Collaborate closely with an experienced Year 6 team and contribute to planning and shared resources

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

• Minimum two years of recent experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2 (preferably Year 6)

• Confident in delivering the Year 6 curriculum and preparing pupils for SATs

• Strong classroom management skills and a passion for nurturing pupil progress

• Collaborative, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards

• Please note: this role is not suitable for ECTs
