About the Role

A forward-thinking secondary school in Barnet is seeking an outstanding Geography Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time role, teaching Geography three days per week and PSHE/RE two days per week. The post is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers, with a strong support network and excellent professional development opportunities.

• Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Demonstrates a genuine passion for Geography and a commitment to inspiring students at all levels
• Has the ability to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in Geography (KS3 & KS4) and is enthusiastic about teaching PSHE/RE (training and resources provided)
• Shows a strong track record (or clear potential, for ECTs) of raising achievement and fostering a positive learning environment
• Is reflective, proactive, and committed to their own professional growth
• Possesses excellent subject knowledge, classroom management, and communication skills
• Is a collaborative team player who contributes positively to the wider school community
