EYFS SEN Learning Support Assistant

 

Join our inclusive and supportive team at Bromley Primary School as an EYFS SEN Learning Support Assistant.

 

We are seeking an experienced individual who is passionate about providing all children with an inclusive education, especially children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The successful candidate will be supporting EYFS children who will need to provide 1 to 1 support in their learning. This is a great opportunity for someone who has worked within nurseries and preschools and has experience of support young children with SEN.

 

A degree or TA qualification is preferred but not essential for this role. However, the candidate must have prior experience of working and supporting children with SEN, either personally or professionally. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, patient, and supportive.

 

This is a long-term role until July 2023 or longer, with an immediate start. The role is full-time, 35 hours a week from 8:30am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday, and offers a daily rate of £85 to £100, dependent on experience.

 

Requirements:

  • Prior experience of working and supporting children with SEN (personally or professionally)
  • Compassionate, patient and supportive approach
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships based on trust and respect
