What skills and experience we're looking for

• has recent experience of working in a primary school setting;
• can use their knowledge and skills to support children across the school, whether they are learning in the ARB or mainstream classrooms;
• is an excellent practitioner with very high expectations of what can be achieved;
• has a good understanding of child development and learning to support and drive the development of our pupils’ love of learning and aspiration;
• has the ability to communicate effectively in a variety of situations - verbal and written and can use ICT effectively to support learning;
• the ability to work constructively as part of a team and commit to the school’s ethos, aims and school environment with a positive, flexible can-do attitude;

Role details

• Full time Mon – Fri 8:30am to 3:30pm
• Primary School
• Greenwich
• ASAP or September start
• £95 - £110 per day – depending on experience

What the school offers its staff

Our Primary School is a vibrant, diverse community school on the Streatham-Norwood border. We have a supportive staff and leadership team who are committed to ensuring the best opportunities and outcomes for our children. Our Autism Resource Base is an integral part of the school for children with a diagnosis of autism and an EHCP (currently 15 pupils). We are looking for a teacher with experience of SEND (in either a mainstream classroom or specialist provision) to join our motivated team in our mainstream classroom.
