The Role – Chemistry Teacher:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, engaging Chemistry lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5

  • Tailor teaching strategies to meet the needs of all students, ensuring they reach their potential in Chemistry
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing effective feedback and support to aid their learning
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enhancement within the Science department
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Chemistry exams
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to foster a positive learning culture

The Ideal Candidate – Chemistry Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in Chemistry or related field
  • Experience teaching Chemistry at secondary level (KS3, KS4, KS5) in a UK school environment
  • Passionate about Science education, with a focus on student success and engagement
  • Skilled in creating inclusive, dynamic learning environments that cater to diverse student needs
  • Experienced in delivering GCSE and A-Level Chemistry with a strong understanding of exam preparation
