Science Teacher - Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons, fostering a deep understanding and passion for the subject
  • Adapt lesson plans and teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Provide regular assessments and feedback to monitor student progress and achievement
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Chemistry curriculum
  • Inspire and motivate students, promoting a love for learning and academic excellence
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Participate in the wider school community and contribute to extracurricular activities when possible

Science Teacher – Personal Specification:

  • Has experience / ability to teach Chemistry from KS3 – KS5 and a strong track record of student success
  • Is capable of teaching some Physics and Biology at KS3
  • Has the ability to differentiate and adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Is committed to the safeguarding and well-being of students
