One of the most well-respected and high performing mixed-sex secondary schools in Grays is searching for 3 talented Academic Mentors. These Academic Mentor roles are all full-time and long-term position with a September start.

For the next academic year, my client is keen to find 3 gifted, talented graduates to tutor, mentor and support his Key Stage 3, 4 & 5 students. Previous mentoring/ tutoring experience is an advantage, but not essential. It is however imperative that you have a strong academic background.

Academic Mentor - Job Description:

• Full time Academic Mentor / GCSE & A-Level tutor
• Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4pm
• Immediate start required
• Long-term role until July 2025 as a minimum
• Candidates may be required to assist with afterschool booster clubs (not compulsory)
• £98 per day rising to £120 per day from 13^th working week
• Key Stage 3, 4 & 5 focus

Person Specification:

• 1st Class / 2:1 degree graduate from top Universities
• Russell Group, Redbrick, Oxbridge graduates welcomed
• Subjects sought: Science (Chemistry), Maths, English, Geography
• You must be confident in your subject knowledge
• The ability to breakdown and simplify complex concepts is essential!
• An articulate, personable and team-playing individual
